While back on campus recently, several 13 Collective student-athletes spent more time volunteering with Community Bikes of Hamilton, a local nonprofit dedicated to making cycling more accessible throughout the community.
Community Bikes collects donated bicycles, repairs and reconditions them, and places them with children and adults who would love to have a bike but may not otherwise be able to afford one. Through the organization’s work, hundreds of bikes are given a second life while helping community members gain access to transportation, recreation, and independence.
The players assisted with a variety of tasks while learning more about the impact Community Bikes has throughout the Hamilton area. It was a great opportunity to connect with a local organization that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The 13 Collective is proud to support community-focused initiatives like Community Bikes of Hamilton and remains committed to creating positive impact both on and off the court.
