It is special when alums who are responsible for the banners in the rafters return to train for the week. This week, Tucker Richardson and Keegan Records stepped back onto the hardwood where they accomplished quite a lot.

Tucker Richardson graduated as the program’s all-time leader in games played (155), wins (110), assists (626), steals (221), and three-point field goals made (268). Richardson was the first player in Patriot League history to reach 1,700 points, 700 rebounds, and 600 assists, and the only active Division I player to compile at least 1,600 points, 700 rebounds, 500 assists, and 200 steals by the end of his career. His senior season saw him shatter the single-season assists record with 198 and sweep three major awards—Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Scholar-Athlete of the Year—an accomplishment unmatched in league annals.

Keegan Records made his mark as the backbone of Colgate’s frontcourt from 2019–23. In 152 career games (117 starts), he averaged 9.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game, shooting an efficient 62.7% from the field. A four-year contributor, Records earned three All-Patriot League selections, three All-Patriot League Tournament nods, two Patriot All-Defense honors, and was named to the Patriot League All-Freshman team as a rookie Colgate University AthleticsSports-Reference.com.

Welcome back, Tucker and Keegan. There’s no better way to honor the past than by building the future.
